NEBOSH has joined forces with the UK’s Health and Safety Regulator, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to develop a new Process Safety Management (PSM) qualification specifically for process industries. This qualification is a blend of engineering and management skills. It focuses on the prevention of catastrophic accidents and near misses associated with loss of containment of energy or dangerous substances such as chemicals and hydrocarbons.
This qualification is designed to equip delegates with a broad understanding of the accepted principles and recognised industrial practices for the management of process risk. This will ensure that they can recognise and contribute to the control of process safety hazards.
